The Staten Island Catholic Worker is hosting a Monthly Community Meal for those in need in our community beginning on Sunday, March 3rd at Farrell Hall located at St. Peter’s Church on St. Mark’s Place in St. George. We will be providing a hot meal, giveaways, and resources for those who attend from our parish food pantries. Donations are being accepted via electronic payment or checks can be mailed to Dorothy Day House of Hospitality, P.O. Box 61264, SI, NY 10306. The SI Catholic Worker will be selling soup on Sunday, February 9th to benefit their weekly soup kitchen and monthly meals. Please email us or scan the QR code on our flyer to volunteer to make HOMEMADE soup/chili. We look forward to you sharing your favorites with us! Quarts of soup that are labeled can be dropped off that morning at a north shore or south shore location or picked up earlier in the week. QUART CONTAINERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP OR DELIVERY.
